The 1993 Dodge Colt was co-developed with Mitsubishi. Though it was basically a good car, the Dodge was very stripped down compared to the Mitsubishi. For example it had drum rear brakes and much narrower tires and the braking performance suffered accordingly.
Our was purchased as a cheap second car. It was Dark Maroon Pearl and though it was the GL version, it was still a very basic car. At 11 seconds for 0 to 60, it was also the slowest vehicle we have ever owned.
